This album was actually recommended to me by a reader who wanted to remain anonymous. So to you, thank you. I’m always looking to discover new music and not stay within my own comfort zone. Things might not always work out, but I’m almost always wanting to take the risk.
And that’s the truth. I even checked my library just to make sure. I’m going into this completely dark. As far as my records show, I’ve yet to hear her voice or anything she’s ever been featured in. Both you and I are in for a treat, hopefully.
So, without further ado, here’s my first reaction and full album review for Emily Burns’ Die Happy.
Die Happy
Oh wow, we’re kicking things off with the title track. I was not expecting that at all. Hopefully, we’re starting off with a banger?
Okay. It’s a ballad. I can vibe with that. Not what I was expecting (if anything), but maybe it’s setting the tone for the album?
