Album Review: Hayley Williams - FLOWERS for VASES / descansos
Good Grief, this album is exceptional.
Yes, we’re back with yet another Hayley Williams album review. This time, we’re taking it all the way back to her first solo studio album. Yeah, you read that right, today we’re gonna be taking a look at Hayley Williams’ FLOWERS for VASES / descansos.
I wouldn’t say I’m the biggest Paramore fan, but I know all the hits plus a few deep cuts. All that to say, I have a pretty decent knowledge of her work and am looking forward to giving it a listen.
So without further ado, here’s my first reaction and full review of Hayley Williams’ FLOWERS for VASES / descansos.
NOTE: I’ve heard the second track on the album, 'My Limb' before. It’s in my library, but it’s been quite a while since I’ve heard it.
First Thing To Go
Right off the rip with an acoustic guitar? If this is gonna be the theme for the album, I will be in for a pleasant surprise.
I’m loving the plucked guitar in the pre-chorus. And no, I’m not crying, you are. We’re already at that stage? This album is gonna be a rollercoaster.
