Here I am, crossing 11 PM Pacific time (I’m old, don’t judge me), wrapping up my initial album reaction. And as I’m wrapping it up, Taylor announced that it’s actually a double album. Welp. I guess I’m not getting any sleep tonight 😂. Enough with the intro, let’s get into it.

So without further ado, here’s Taylor Swift’s THE ANTHOLOGY.

The Black Dog

Starting off with a "bonus" track that was available for a limited time on vinyl and CD. I’m glad it’s not gatekept as some of her previous releases were. But enough with semantics, let’s dive into the track.

Oh wow, we’re starting off with a sad song. A harsh breakup where they shared everything together. Told each other everything. And your location, you forgot to turn it off. And so I watch as you walk into some bar called 'The Black Dog' and pierce new holes in my heart. Absolutely heartbreaking.
